The classroom environment requires access to both an IBM Lotus Sametime 8 server (for both instant messaging and Web conferencing) and an IBM Lotus Quickr 8 server, and that these servers be integrated. Students should also have user access to both, so they can chat, participate in Web conferences and work in Quickr places.
Microsoft Office should also be available to both the instructor and the students for demonstrating and working with Lotus Connectors.
