This course provides you with extensive hands on practice using the IBM Lotus Forms Designer. The student guide can be used as a reference guide to the Designer for building standard Extensible Forms Description Language (XFDL) and XForms-enabled forms.

This is a basic course for form designers, system architects, and application developers.

This instructor-led course is available both online and in the classroom. Total class hours are 30. The class offerings shown on the right identify the delivery format.
Course Topics:- Describe the basic products within the IBM Lotus Forms toolset.
- Understand the Eclipse development environment and be able to customize as appropriate.
- Understand the components of the IBM Lotus Forms Viewer and set preferences as needed.
- Recognize and understand the syntactical fundamentals of the XFDL language
- Build simple XFDL forms.
- Apply advanced XFDL concepts.
- Build simple XForms forms.
- Recognize and understand the fundamentals of the XPath
- Apply advanced XForms concepts.
- Choose between XFDL and XForms
