Audience
This course is intended for IBM Lotus Domino administrators that are familiar with earlier versions of Sametime and want to learn the basic tasks for deploying and administering a pilot Sametime 8.5.1 environment.

Prerequisites:
Completion of the following IBM courses or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience:

ST850 Implementing an IBM Lotus Sametime 8 Infrastructure
Because Lotus Sametime 8.5.1 uses IBM WebSphere Application Server as a foundation for some components, the student should complete a tutorial called One hour course to demystify WebSphere Application Server for Lotus, available at IBM Sametime wiki.
