This instructor-led course uses IBM documentation to guide the student through the process of installing, deploying and administering a pilot configuration of IBM Lotus Sametime 8.5.1.
Audience This course is intended for IBM Lotus Domino administrators that are familiar with earlier versions of Sametime and want to learn the basic tasks for deploying and administering a pilot Sametime 8.5.1 environment.
Prerequisites: Completion of the following IBM courses or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience:- ST850 Implementing an IBM Lotus Sametime 8 Infrastructure
- Because Lotus Sametime 8.5.1 uses IBM WebSphere Application Server as a foundation for some components, the student should complete a tutorial called One hour course to demystify WebSphere Application Server for Lotus, available at IBM Sametime wiki.
Delivery Format: This instructor-led course is available both online and in the classroom. Total class hours are 16 (2 full classroom days). The class offerings shown on the right identify the delivery format.
